All words I didn't think I would hear to soon but it seams nature has a different idea so just after my 39th birthday this year I will become a Nana.

My eldest Daughter is expecting her first child in Sept, she will be 19 the same age I was when I had her. The saddest part for me is she lives several hours away with her boyfriend, who seams so be a wonderful guy and a pleasure to have added to our family of girls.

Now will it be a boy to break with our family's run or another girl to add to the already kayo tic lives we lead.

But please no more until I'm 50...........

First Day of Big School

Miss Alannah has been waiting for this moment for months now counting down the day of pre-school until big school (kindy) started.

She had to wait for Christmas, Holidays, pre-school to finish, some of her sisters start the new year of school, her big sister going back to high school and then had to sit an interview with the kindy teachers all before she could put on her uniform, pack her bag, pick out some lunch and head to kindy.

Scooby doo loving girl

My 5yr daughter is Scooby mad and to make matters worse they only make Scooby boys clothes and toys, so she has been collecting the soft teddies. It was a little confronting to add flowers and ribbons to a somewhat Halloween page but overall I'm happy with the end result as is my daughter who carried the page around for a day lol.

String in black - To create the spiders web and spider.

Skeleton leaves in silver - I scrunched these up in my hands to give a warn look.

Gardenias in black - These have been sprayed with a silver glitter Glimmer Mist.

Natural Jute ribbon

Organza Splatter ribbon in blue - Due to having a wire edge it was easy to create a crease in the ribbon to give it a ruffled look.

Organza Stripe in black - Used to create the ribbon flower, pull the wire out of one side of the ribbon completely then with the remaining wire bend one end over so it can't pull thru. Start to pull on the other end of the wire while pushing the ribbon down the wire so that the ribbon begins to gather, once you have it completely gathered you can cut off the excess wire and bend the two ends of the wires together to create a rosette flower.

I'm not really a big card fan but thought seeing as it is Christmas I would try my hand at a Christmas card, using Green Tara products made it easy to complete a card with very little effort and still look fantastic.

With 8 children you think I would have Christmas pages mastered but in fact in my 7yrs of scrapping I have only done about 5 pages, and have 14yrs worth umm now almost 15yrs worth of Christmas photos to catch up on. These photos were taking a couple of years ago while my younger children decorated the tree, more like themselves.

Well I must say I truly do have a new understanding for those mothers who say their babies cry all the time.... After 7 great children who slept thru the night at only a few months old and only ever had a hour or two of being unsettled each day, generally called the twitching hour which is very normal for babies, I now have a little angel who is in no way an angel and I am exhausted beyond exhausted. Yes babies are hard work but this little angel is like having triplets in one baby.

Our new little girls has let us see the bad side since 2 weeks old. I spent 2mths trying to feed her but she was always unsettled and in tears. Oh and the chucking, Ive had 2 chucky babies before that giggled when they chucked but this little miss screamed all the time and on the off chance we did get her to sleep she would wake up screaming. All the while she hardly gained any weight the best she did was 40g in 3 weeks, in general she should have gained 450g in that time.

With the introduction of zantac she was able to get a little more sleep as the silent reflux was better but getting her to sleep was still a huge drama and the medication did not help the chucking side of things plus we still struggled to get her to eat and gain weight. I then spent weeks on medication and expressing after every feed to help my supply as her feeding habits left my supply wondering what the heck was going on.

By 3.5mths we were advised its time to try comp feeding with formula as she still was hardly gaining weight. Well she screamed even more and got the runs to go with it. So back to the Dr's, time to try soy formula. She slept yippee but only for 2 days with less crying, then came the constipation and the screaming again. Back to the Dr's.

So now at 4.5mths old we have finally got some answers. Added bonus she is putting on 200g a week.

It turned out she had a urinary tract infection basically from birth which was causing her discomfort, that was treated with medication she also underwent an ultrasound that showed a suspicious area followed by other tests to check her kidneys etc. All came back fine but she will need to have regular tests to double check.

She has now been put on Losec for her reflux and recently the dose was doubled.

It also turns out that she is lactose and protein intolerant so no matter how much I changed my diet she would never have gained weight while being breast fed (that made me feel better about turning to the bottle) and is now on a prescription formula that has no lactose and has the protein broken down so she still gets it but in a different form. We have been advised to avoid anything dairy or containing meat/chicken etc when starting solids but have hope she will grow out of it and be able to eat normally as she gets older.

But at 4.5mths old she still chucks from one bottle to the next, she hardly sleeps during the day, still cries way to much, is very difficult to feed she fusses with almost every feed and is still only taking the amount a new born takes and is feeding every 3hrs.

The great thing is once we can finally get her down at night around 9-11pm she will sleep and lately has only been waking between 2-4am for a feed and then again at 6-8am so we are finally getting some sleep, not that's its really helping she is draining us so much during the day the sleep we do get is not enough.

As she is still not a happy baby and still chucking so much the Dr is taking about more tests. If we can get thru 1 hour without her crying it would be a godsend.

We still love her dearly and she was worth every penny we spent to bring her into this world (IVF baby)

Well I'm finally getting back into the swing of things again, my photos have been piling up for months now with no sign of a scrapbook page being completed, I was beginning to think my days as a scrapbooker were numbered.

Last week I managed to complete 4 pages in 2 days compared to 2 cards & a page in 5mths.

* Organza rosettes in white cut into single roses, coloured with glimmer mist, heated slightly with heat gun to make them curl up more.

Using glubers I have created string rosettes in two different sizes and then layered them together, adding a pearl glimmer mist to the string and all the flowers give them sparkle without changing their colours. Lace has also been coloured with glimmer mist

I managed to get in one layout the week before bubs was born for my DT work. Created using Green Tara products.

Photo of Briony with her fav doll this poor doll went everywhere with her it never left her side. It lost its head a few times alone with an arm and a leg, now years later we still have the doll packed away for her and even at almost 9 years of age she still has a fond attachment to a replacement doll that looks the exact same only a little smaller and so far it has kept all its limbs intact (for now)

Yes I know Im a little late with posts but she hasn't been the happiest baby in the world and after having angel babies that sleep right thu the night from only a few weeks old she is giving me a run for my money.

You would think that after having already having 2 reflux babies she would be easy, but my other 2 girls were happy chuckers little miss Imogen is not she aften wakes up screaming, is difficult to feed and hates to sleep more than 10 mins at a time. However she is a good girl sometimes and maybe once or twice a day she will have a 3hr sleep now that she has started taking meds for the reflux.

So now that I have a few spare seconds mind you I am doing this with her on my lap I thought I would share a few pics.

With only a little over 3 weeks left till we meet our baby girl we thought we would try and get one last glimpse at her to see hows she's grown.

Well it's not always easy to get an unborn baby to do you want it to we had to over come a very sleepy bub who just wanted to cover her face with her hands, but after a little bit we got a couple of little looks at her button chin and pouting lips and oh my after having several 5p babies she is sure a chubby little lass.

I am finally able to share our newest edition baby Imogen, Yes we are expecting another beautiful little girl. I think we are going to need another bathroom & a huge wedding budget.

Today we had the pleasure of seeing our little girls face, well when she was kind enough to move her hands & feet out of the way. We got a little smile & a big yawn.

I must say even this early she looks just like her sisters.

I have had this wooden creation from Kaisercraft sitting on my shelf now for over 12mths waiting to be dressed up ready for sweets, so finally this year, well last year now. We finally got a white Christmas tree that we had wanted for years and decorated it in bright bold colours for the kids. To match our tree I used Kaisercraft papers to decorate our countdown and added little santa chocolates to each of the draws.

Do you struggle to create anything boyish? Although the scrapbooking world has finally started to release more male orientated products I still struggle. With 6 girls to scrap and only one boy who is now 16 and hates the camera I rarely get a chance to do a boy page. I got a little inspired when I received my shipment of the new Bo Bunny Cambridge papers they really suited my son to a tee, messy and stylish all at the same time so with the help of some alcohol and distressing inks I set to work and created these.

Well I must say I have been a little on the slack side for my friends at Green Tara but with the release of their new updated blog I thought I had better pull my finger out and help fill it. This week we were asked to complete a page, a card and a off the page item.

This time I set myself a goal to use as many Green Tara products as I could with very little of anything else, so with that in mind I created these. I only added a couple of rhinestones, cardstock and various inks.

I just love Prima Marketing products but then who doesn't, out of their new ranges the Jack n Jill range has to be my favourite maybe because it is the only one I have time to play with.

When I say a page done on the Prima site I just had to scraplift it, it was the most adorable page and it inspired me to create a few of my own after I completed it.

Wow I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted...

Life has been so hectic, I would normally only leave the house once or twice a week besides the school runs and I think I have been out almost everyday for 3 weeks straight. Don't ask me what I have been doing as the list is to long and goes on forever, so when I finally got to sit today while we had a BBQ for Fathers day I thought to myself wow my body is really achy lol mmmm I wonder why.....

So how many of you have managed to get your hands on some new Green Tara Silver Sprays... Oh my these are just so beautiful the day I got them I wanted to use them all.

I also got my hands on the new Prima this week, well they never fail to get me excited. I'm so lucky to have 6 girls and a niece to scrap with all those flowers and pretty girly papers, but I must say my favourite was the Jack & Jill range oh so very cute.

Ever had one of those days where you wish you had not woken up when the alarm went off???

Well I have had a few days like that, and my poor scrap desk has been a shambles so I haven't even been able to scrap to vent. Might help if I stay home long enough to clean it .

Tomorrow I was going to take some r & r and go to the movies with hubby something we have only ever done once alone in 15yrs but unfortunately or fortunately depending on if you ask me or the bill collector he has been called into work.

So now I am dedicated to cleaning my desk and scrapping all day well after I do the school run.

So for now I have added a few of the pages I did last week using the new My Minds Eye papers.

Design Team work for Green Tara using her wonderful new laces along with some flowers and ribbons. All this work was for the 2010 SIA show.

I just love working with Green Tara products but I must say I haven't really done much with lace but I was please with how these turned out.

Turning plan white lace into a range of colours is easy with a touch of Glimmer Mist or chalk.

Creat flowers with mesh ribbon by pleating the ribbon into a circle and stitching the centre together.

A new face for a new year

Well it has been some time since I kept up with the blog, a lot has happened that has kept me so busy I basically forgot all about it. But the time has come to get back in the swing of scrapping and blogging.

A new year brings new things with giveaways and classes so stay tuned.

My new scrap space has been enlarged greatly to accommodate 3 scrapping children and a hubby who thinks if he give me a bigger space he will be able to share it to do his models, does he not recall the mess of one scrapper let alone there now being 4 in the house. I really can't see there be any room left for him lol.

I have manage to create this Christmas tree from Kaiser using Green tara mulberry paper ripped into strips to create the tree, everything but the gifts on the bottom are from Green tara.

My Little Shoe Box! now who doesn't like their products, with their new 09 ranges they are still doubled sided but are of heavy weight cardstock making them even easier to work with along with the new die-cut rounds who wouldn't love them. We have almost all ranges now in stock with the exception of the neighbourhood set which is on back order we hope to have it arrive in the next 2 week, each new range has a set of die-cut journaling tags and a matching overlay.

Who doesn't love an ice-cream or two, well in my house a 4ltr tub only lasts a few days but them again their is eight of us.
Using the new Kaiser Bushka paper range you can create a very colourful layout with very little effort great for when you are short of time. I also used the Bella 12 x 12 chipboard alphas in blue then embossed them in a clear glitter to give them a glassed look.

Tank V's Bus Who Will Win

Well I guess you can guess who would win, a little unfair advantage the tank has LOL. After a night out at last years Monster Truck show my boys brought home some wonderful photos to scrap and only have one son who is not into boy stuff it was a challenge to create a page with no flowers but alas A2Z have come to the rescue with their chipboard tree's with a cost of clack paint for the trunk and branches and a coat of green for the leaves then with a dab of red paint on the ends of the leaves it gives a more affective finish.

Oh and yes the Tank won big time.
