Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge with lots of Green Tara blooms

A gorgeous 8" canvas using LSG spray, Green Tara flowers & Lace, Memory Maze chipboard & Scrappers Garden Fairy.

Memory Maze key has has gesso applied then sprayed with pink & silver sprays, butterfly treated the same but with pink spray.

Memory Maze Frame was painted with Gesso then treated with a number of LSG sprays Cadbury milk chocolate, Dark Chocolate truffle, Down the rabbit hole & Brushed nickel,

Another Memory Maze butterfly this time sprayed with A bit o'bubbly. Computer printed verse.

Lots of Green Tara bloom, all yellow blooms are sprayed with A bit o'bubbly and silver flowers sprayed with Down the rabbit hole and Brushed Nickle. Scrappers Garden Fairy painted with LSG sprays using a brush.

Gorgeous Green Tara lace created a border around the canvas, it has been sprayed with 4 different coloured sprays, Canvas background was created using a mask and texture paste and then sprayed 3 colours.

I have used my fav colours & fav brands of flowers Green Tara and Prima

A beautiful array of Green Tara Blossoms and large roses from Prima.

the leaves was embossed in green. Dress form has been painted then inked with touches of white.

New Green Tara flowers and a prima large rose.

Keys in sepia has been left as is.

I inked the bow in purple ink then sprayed smooch spritz over it and topped it with a piece from a Green Tara Silver trim and placed it all onto a bow made from Green Tara Jute.

the leaves have been coated in green glitter, each vine piece has been inked in green then glitter glue in green added to each of the leaves.

Birds in white, these have been left as is but I have fluffed up the wings a little by just separating the chipboard layers, there are 8 little birds on this canvas in varying sizes to represent each of my 8 children.

mother word has been inked with Mix'd Media inx Jasmine then embossed with matching embossing powder and while still wet I sprinkled Fairy dust over it in mixed berries.

Epoxy sticker words to represent what I am and mean to others, each one has been stuck on white cardstock and then cut out a little bigger than the sticker then paint added to each edge.

I used a clock mask in the background with coloured texture paste to represent how people always tell me I'm so organised when it comes to my family, thank god no one see's the behind the scenes action.

Memory Maze Reverse Canvas

I wanted to create something to go in my girls new room. The entire canvas was painted in gesso then a dark purple, I then did a rough cost of white paint and once dry it was sanded to show areas of the purple this shows thru the swirl on the frame.

I used a brick template and texture paste to create the bricks on the sides and back wall of the canvas then sprayed it with 2 different tones of brown and added a darker brown ink to the edges to highlight certain areas.

Memory Maze 12x12 swirl frame had the center cut out of it and was painted in a lavender then touches of a dark purple added here and there the swirl center was painted in eggwhite (grey/white), Green Tara & Manor house flowers.

Prima vine was added up the inside edge behind the chair and green tara petals and flowers added to it.

Memory Maze Bird cage wrought iron was first painted white then a clear crackle paint was added once dry   I painted it with H2O paint and rub off the excess so only the paint remained in the cracks, the chain was also painted with nutmeg H2O paint, a little american craft thickers glitter bird was added to the cage. More Green Tara flowers, petals and flower sprays added.

Memory Maze vintage frame has been painted in an apricot colour with touches of purple added the clear embossed to give it a shine and Green Tara silver paper added to the back to make it look like a mirror.

Memory Maze Bird Bath small was first painted in eggshell (a grey/white colour) then highlights of white added to look like shadowing along with lines drawn in grey, little birds were also painted. I small rose garden made up with Green Tara rosebuds.

Memory Maze Street Lamp has been painted with nutmeg H2O paint and the glob painted with a gold shimmer paint.

Memory Maze Chair Large has been painted using purple in light and dark along with the eggshell paint colour. More Green Tara petals rolled up under the chair.

Another Memory Maze Corner treated the same way but a larger one this time slipped in behind the garden.

Memory Maze Fence with Chain has been painted in eggshell then clear crackle paint over the top.

"Reverse Canvas"

Novembers Green Tara DT work

I covered the top and bottom half of the canvas with different papers in blue and green tones to represent the sky and grass then lightly painted over the paper with a watered down white paint.

Using a brick template I created a brick wall with texture paste and distress inks. The brick wall also follows on inside the canvas. Adding a small stamped bird cage.

Adding several pieces of chipboard each one inked in several colours, the fence has had a treatment of white crackle paint. Using Green Tara wire cord I have twisted it around the fence and up the blossom tree to create a creeping vine adding flower soft and Green Tara roses for flowers on the vine.

Adding a cluster of beautiful flowers & leaves from Green Tara, I wanted smaller leaves but only had large ones left so I cut a maple leaf into 3 smaller ones . The darker flowers have had their tips lightly inked in white to tone them down a touch.

With Green Tara's new velvet rose taking the lime light, these flowers are beautiful and soft with a velvet feel and look.

"Christmas Reverse Canvas"

My lovely kids keep telling its almost Christmas time so I thought I would get us into the Christmas spirit. I'm not a gold person and I rarely follow the traditional Christmas colours but I'm trying to challenge myself. I must say creating this was the so much fun and the idea I had in my head came together perfectly. And is totally loaded with lots of Green Tara goodies.

This canvas is 27cm wide and 20cm tall and is and extra deep canvas. I covered the inside and front edges with a gold metallic 12x12 crinkle paper from Green Tara using modge podge, adding extra folds and creases around the front edges. Then painted the rest of the outside edges of the canvas in metallic gold paint but then wiped it down with a tissue leaving only a thin layer of colour. I also white washed the gold paper so it had a softer tone.

The gold cherubs ribbon was painted with a watered down white paint to tone down the gold a little. Beautiful lace used as a garland was inked in golds and green then sprayed with a little water to blend the colours

Bead Garland Red has been wrapped around the tree to add more decoration

Bead Garland in gold and green has been used to create hanging decorations from the roof, Along with 3 flying deers from the reindeer garland that have had a little white paint added to them. I have used a white Xmas wreath and ruffled it up then added metallic gold paint to the tips of the ruffles. Cutting 2 trees from the Xmas tree ribbon I have added white paint to the edges and added them to the mantle for decorations.

The fire place was made from cardboard then bricks made with texture paste, a few sticks from the garden to make logs and a base plate made from a green paper from the Xmas art deco paper range. For the mantle I just used a couple of pieces of timber that are meant to be the corner supports that came with the canvas and painted them white.

Small gifts made from foam blocks and covered in Green Tara papers and wrapped in Green Tara ribbons & bows. Metallic gold trim added to the bottom of the canvas and slightly painted white.

A small cluster of flowers along the tree side of the canvas with wire embellishments that have been slightly painted with white paint in hearts and stars. A Christmas bouquet in gold added under the tree.

Taking a Metal swirl and straighten it, I then twisted it around a paintbrush in small pieces to create flower swirls

Adding a large cluster of flowers of the fire place side including flower sprays, skeleton leaves, paper leaves, roses, apple blossoms, gardenias, and silk flowers. I have painted metallic gold paint on all of the flowers petals and leaves.
