My brother coming home inspired me to create a card

"New House"

This was sample piece of paper Kaiser Craft had sent me and was the perfect size for a card backdrop. Topped of with Scrapmatts and Green Tara goodies.

Green Tara silver spray used to look like a tree & petals in lime were folded in half then the tops painted a little and layered to create the look of grass.

Tiny flowers and lace from Green Tara, Heidi grass glass affect grass that has had several coats of different tones of green and a touch of white paint. Scrapmatts little butterfly painted in metallic paint.

Scrapmatts ATC house was covered in paper and the chimney was inked then embossed, I used a veramark pen to create the lines for embossing in a lightly colour to create the look of bricks.

I'm not normally a card person I really don't have anyone to give them too, but lately I have been trying to do more of what I don't normally do.

Briony's nick name is BB and she collects Bee's so this one was made with her in mind.

"Sweet Princess'

* Green Tara lace CODE: L2897OW used for the top of the page this has been lightly painted lime green with a glimmer mist rather than sprayed.

*Green Tara lace at bottom of page lightly sprayed in apricot and pink but some white has been left to give it a 3 tone affect.

* Green Tara Pink Organza Stripe ribbon for the large bow, wire in the edge of this ribbon makes it easy to shape, and best of all it keeps its shape.

* Green Tara Pleated ribbon in lime creates a border right across the page.

* Green Tara Organza rosttes ribbon cut to create indivual flowers in grey.

* Green Tara Silver spray dragonfly cut from its stem to create a small embellishment.

* Green Tara Gardenia flowers in pink with the green leaves removed.

Green Tara Swarovski crystal flowers in 2 sizes.

"Easter Card"

  * Basket made out of Green Tara ric rac and sprayed with glitter.

* Basket handle Green Tara Wave ribbon in pink.

* Green Tara petals folded into quarters and layered.

* Eggs made from paper and Green Tara Unryo 12x12 mulberry paper. Each egg has had the top half coated in mulberry paper using pva glue, the orange egg was done with white paper then sprayed orange to create the right colour.

* Green Tara metal corner small, painted in white gesso then lime green paint and sanded back.

*Green Tara Herringbone in Turquoise used to wrap the card and the large bow

Christmas Card

I'm not really a big card fan but thought seeing as it is Christmas I would try my hand at a Christmas card, using Green Tara products made it easy to complete a card with very little effort and still look fantastic.

Green Tara

Well I must say I have been a little on the slack side for my friends at Green Tara but with the release of their new updated blog I thought I had better pull my finger out and help fill it. This week we were asked to complete a page, a card and a off the page item.

This time I set myself a goal to use as many Green Tara products as I could with very little of anything else, so with that in mind I created these. I only added a couple of rhinestones, cardstock and various inks.



Kaiser Christmas Tree for Green Tara DT

Alison from Green Tara recently sent me a huge box of Christmas goodies to play with, after I got over my excitement a little fear set in, why? well in all the years I have been scraping I have never really done anything Christmas.

I have manage to create this Christmas tree from Kaiser using Green tara mulberry paper ripped into strips to create the tree, everything but the gifts on the bottom are from Green tara.

My Little Shoe Box - 2009 Release

My Little Shoe Box! now who doesn't like their products, with their new 09 ranges they are still doubled sided but are of heavy weight cardstock making them even easier to work with along with the new die-cut rounds who wouldn't love them. We have almost all ranges now in stock with the exception of the neighbourhood set which is on back order we hope to have it arrive in the next 2 week, each new range has a set of die-cut journaling tags and a matching overlay.

Projects down below are the work I did for the design team I am on using the Flawless range witch was very easy to work with says she who has 6 girls LOL.
