I thought I would re-share my fav projects for 2012

I was very excited over this page as was my 5yr old lol, I had made the spider web from scratch using Green Tara String. Posted back in Feb.

This page was my fav for March as I just love this cheeky photo of 6mth old Imogen

This one tops the list for June as it was the first artsie type thing I created

My little welcome sign is the first thing I see when I come home

This layout made my list because its of me and it is rare to find a photo of me let alone get me to scrap it.

This one has to make this list as it was the first time I had won anything with my scrapping, the layout won The Color Room Palette #133

This one I just love how bright and colourful it is full of Green Tara goodies, how can u not just smile at that face.

My 2nd attempt at a reverse canvas I just love it so full of cheer.

This is my very first grandchild and very first layout of him, but I do love these papers and how it all turned out.

And lucky last

Well I couldn't decide between 2, these are amongst the last few pages I have done and I just love them both the first one is just a random photo taken during a family photo shoot and it was my fav photo out from the whole day, and the second layout I just love the details and the fact I cut the photos out so I'm posting both of them.

Thankyou to everyone for your support throughout 2012 and for the inspiration many of you have given me.

I hope you have a fantastic Christmas and an even better new year.
xxx

December Green Tara Goodies
It's my turn again to show off some fantastic goodies from Green Tara.
"Bundle Of Joy"

A couple of first for me this is my very first gandbaby and my first boys page in what seams like forever.

Beautiful Damask flower in aqua teamed up with a white gardenia, peach apple blossoms and some little roses. The gardenia has been inked with a bright orange ink. White paper leaves and a cut up silver spray have also been added.

Another small cluster of flowers, silver spray and white leaves, this time a apple blossom is the main flower.

I love this ribbon so easy to use in so many ways.

I have created the background using strips of cobweb and mesh ribbon. Using some wire cord I created the string for the 2 kites.

"Smile Card"

I'm not really a card person but I had an erge. Stitched Grosgrain in pink & green was used to create a criss cross background then cover in modge podge.

A cluster of beautiful new blooms from Green Tara including Pink Heirloom & Green Primula, with a cherry blossom, each flower has had the tips painted with white paint, the flowers make the top of a litlle painted chipboard tree.

Ivory Apple blossom & Stripe ribbon both have had a little paint added. Organza spatter ribbon was cut in half length ways and them small cuts made in the side without the wire to create grass under the little bear.

Texture paste and a tree mask used to extend the top of the tree across the card.

1.5cm roses were used on the extra branches the smaller rose had the first 2 outer layers removed to make it appear smaller than the other.

A few years ago a friend did a beautiful photo shoot of our kids unfortunately we have lost touch but I still remember her often.
This photo was a random photo taken in between poses while we gave the kids a break, who would have thought it would become one of my fav photos from that day.

"Sweet Memories Together"

I managed to stay away from the glimmer mist again, paint is becoming my new best friend. I have used a combination of white and sage on the layout painting the background edge along with the photo to cover up the background that I didn't like, I have also added a little paint to the paper strips and flowers.

Pearls from Flourish with a bling this is the first time I have used one of their products.

Beautiful Green Tara Blossoms in Tulle and one of my fav gardenias.

Prima papers were cut into random messy strips then sewn to the page, the edges were then distressed. Prima metal bird cage also painted. And another beautiful big Green Tara bloom.

Lots of fussy paper cutting on this page including the strips of paper, flowers, leaves & butterflies.

Something super bright and way out of my norm, this was one of those layouts that no matter what you did it didn't work, I tried cutting things out, different backgrounds etc but in the end I gave up and came back to it the following day.
I change the background paper and kind of put back together the bits I had cut out the day before and presto it worked, I love how it turned out and hey NO glimmer mist lol just paint on this one.

Scrap Cake papers, Prima Fabric word, Green Tara - Prima - Petaloo - Manor house Flowers, Green Tara ribbons.

Beautiful Green Tara Bright pink spotted ribbon is perfect for this layout.

Green Tara's flower takes Center piece.

Green Tara gardenia's are one of my most used flowers teamed with with manor house and petaloo flowers.
