Memory Maze DT Share

"Chip of the old Block"

Lots of Prima & Memory Maze goodies.

Cute new addition to Memory Maze is this little mushroom, here I have just painted it white and then added some pink and brown ink & slipped it into a cluster of Prima flowers.

Little black flowers are a new addition to our hand made flowers that can be found at Scrappers Garden.

Chip of the old block chipboard word, has been embossed in black and the word block has been done in a 2 tone affect in yellows one more solid at the bottom with glitter and the other at the top has more glitter.

Arch window had been painted in yellow paint and the black crackle paint added but not all over so some of the yellow shines through giving it more of an aged look.

Chipboard banner painted black then paper added to the flags. Washi tape added through out the page along with some stamping with a Prima background stamp in yellow around the edge of the page.

Cute little bird house has been embossed in black and yellow and the yellow stamped in a random background image to give it the look of texture, the little bird also embossed in blue. Prima measuring tape stamp used here.

News more News & an Anniversary

Wow I have a couple of things to share today. all very exciting

To kick of the excitement please welcome the new Design Team for FabScraps

Yes I'm one of them
how truly exciting and amazing is that. I am so honored to have been chosen to join this amazing team and work with some beautiful products.

My next lot of news is just as exciting

I've been asked to be a Guest Designer at Purple Pumpkin, yippeee

Last but not least

Hubby & I celebrated 16yrs of marriage yesterday and what better way to spend it than at the papercraft show lol, yes despite what most would think hubby loves to go, he is often seen with his head over my shoulder while I watch you tube videos on the latest products or my fav artists at work, & he sits by my side every now and then while I create so I don't get lonely he says but I think he just likes to watch lol.

I even got a bunch of flowers, which if you knew my hubby you would think oh my god whats he done as they are very few and far between but I have come to learn that its just because he loves me and not because he is in trouble.

Green Tara Canvas Style

A little bit of Green Tara Goodness

"Family Canvas"

Using a little quote, some inspiration from Shona and a lot of Green Tara goodies I created this canvas for my wall.

I started with an 8x8 canvas and added ripped up pieces of paper in 3 styles, stuck them done in a random way to cover the canvas using mod podge.

Then using an old fabric pattern tissue paper I stamped random images, torn it up and added it her and there on the canvas and down the sides and top edges using mod podge.

I used a couple of different masks and texture paste to add leaves and words over the background. then the entire thing was sprayed with several colours of glimmer mist.

Taking an Organza satin rose from Green Tara I cut the stamens of it and then coloured it with black glimmer mist and a touch of cream paint, by letting it dry naturally it left a more mottled affect on the organza petals.

A large Heirloom black flower takes center piece in the flower cluster teamed up with apple blossoms that have been inked in distress ink or sprayed blue with glimmer chalk, a black flower spray, Lace pearl flower, Rose buds, Heirloom small, roses & leaves.

Green Tara lace has been added to the bottom and coloured with glimmer mist sprays.

More Green Tara lace and mesh ribbon, along with a small heirloom flower that has been coloured with distress ink and a organza rose coloured with glimmer chalk. White leaves also coloured with distress ink. A little pen nip charm from Scrappers Garden tucked in under the flowers.

Handmade resin dragon fly from Scrappers Garden slightly inked with distress ink.

Cobweb mesh ribbon has been torn up and added around the quote and a few scattered though the flowers.

Bird cage charm from Scrappers Garden, has been lightly painted and inked in distress ink

Memory Maze chipboard key was inked with an ink pad but only lightly so that some parts remained in their raw state.

Memory Maze chipboard corner also treated the same as the key but also sprayed with a black glimmer mist

Another charm from Scrappers Garden also painted and topped with a Green Tara rose.

"Friends Canvas"

Starting with a 6x6 canvas I created a textured background using wall tape I found at the hardware and Green Tara lace.

The background was made from a row of grid tape that has been stretched then a row of Green Tar Self adhesive satin flower ribbon & 1cm lace, another row of tape this time not altered followed by another row of lace and more stretched grid tape.

Using mask and texture paste I created some dots of the top and bottom of the canvas, then just added some random texture paste here and there and spreading it out.

Spraying the canvas with 4 different colours of glimmer mist, and distress ink in brown on the edges for colour.

Then the layers start, first with a few pieces papers, a doily cut in half and also sprayed.

Then lots of yummy Green Tara flowers, the cherry blossoms have been sprayed green and the tips of the petals dipped in some left over spray that was on my craft sheet from the background.

A Memory Maze frame has had texture paste applied in some areas and then covered in gesso, sprayed with the matching colours from the background and clear embossing powder of the top to give it a bit more of a shine.

Key and leaf charms from scrappers garden

Handmade resin pieces also from scrappers garden, birds & flowers.

Once everything was stuck down I watered down some gesso and applied it randomly all over the canvas, flowers and embellishments.

Quote printed from the internet and frame with the chipboard frame.

Dream Heart

Dream Heart

Filled with Green Tara Love

I found this cane heart while looking for a wreath, it is approx 8' and came pre-painted white

I started off by spraying the heart with orange/peach and green spray then flicked black watered down paint onto it.

Its all about the flowers, Green Tara flowers that is, how amazing do all these flower look together

I started with a large white wild rose and sprayed the outside edges with glimmer mist in flower power & the center in honey dew mist, I took a piece of black flower lace and cut a single flower off it I then split in and cut the center out of it and wrapped it around the center of the flower.

This used to be a white Daisy with wood center

This amazing bright orange flower used to be a ivory Heirloom flower. cobweb ribbon has been torn up and tucked here and there in the flower cluster.

This cute altered flower is a white Damask flower that has been painted with glimmer mist and had the larger petals removed.

I made a Rose vine using leaves and a couple of roses, but it kind of got lost in the flower cluster.

A little nest and handmade resin bird. Cherry blossoms have been sprayed black & green.

Memory Maze chipboard balloon also glimmer misted and some Green Tara trims tied to the top

Memory Maze chipboard dream word.
