Inspired Beauty

I was inspired by a recent you tube video I watched
(sorry I can't recall who it was to give you credit, if someone know plz let me know)

I tried to re create what I had seen but also make it my own.

"Beautiful"

..........................................................

Background was created using texture paste and a stencil, once it was dry I used Gelatos in 3 colours by rubbing the colour onto the texture paste then using a wet paint brush to spread the colour around. I love how the colour has remained darker in the areas where the gelato has gotten stuck on the texture paste.

Once it was all dry I did some random stamping with a stamp that looked like my original background, and used a bowl to create the big stamped circles on either side of the page.

Products used

Basic grey paper
Gelatos
texture paste
Prima black ink, flowers, resin & bling
Manor House flowers
Scrappers Garden flowers
Memory Maze chipboard word
Hessian
Petaloo butterfly

Finalist Entry Kaisercraft DT 2014/15

Can you believe it I am one of the finalist for the next Kaisercraft DT.

This year I was going to have a year off from DT commitments but as soon as I saw Kaisercraft were having a DT call I just knew it was a good time to enter. I had never applied for this team before and didn't really think I had a chance, but you just never know if you don't try.

Then the most unexpected email arrived in my inbox with the words Kaisercraft FINALIST and I couldn't believe my luck or contain my excitement.

Next stage was to complete 2 layouts from 2 new collections that were on their way to me.

When the box of papers arrived my heart skipped a beat one collection was amazing and my head was spinning with ideas, then I saw the Christmas range oh my in my 10 years of scrapping I have only completed 3 layouts for Christmas and they were at least 6yrs ago and since then nothing lol.

BUT once I had everything set up on my table the ideas started running, Kaiser makes working with Christmas papers a breeze and I loved every minute.

So with fingers & toes crossed here are my projects.

All projects created using

Kaisercraft papers, Stickers, various Collectables, Flowers, Wood flourish's
Others random flowers & handmade flowers

Would you believe when I inked the little deer a heart appear on it's back that didn't soak up the ink as well, so very cute.

I cut some of the white area off the banner so it would curve with ease.
